There are no absolute rules as far as tools are concerned. This is our selection of tools that we consider indispensable to our art, but you can work just as well with others if you prefer so long as they adapt well to working with bonsai. Never forget, though, that a good workman always uses good tools.
Keep your tools clean
it is essential to keep your bonsai tools clean. To avoid spreading diseases from one tree to another use a cloth with alcohol to disinfect your tools. To remove Pine resin from the blades of your shears use a special tool cleaner: ‘Clean Mate’
